Ingredients
  1. 12 whole jalapeno peppers
  2. 1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
  3. crushed red pepper flakes
  4. 6 slices thin-cut bacon, cut in half
Instructions
  1. Preheat the broiler & position upper oven rack just below.
  2. Wearing gloves, cut peppers in half and remove seeds. Fill each jalapeno half with cream cheese and sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes. (Use caution, a little crushed red pepper goes a long way).
  3. Wrap each pepper with a slice of bacon and use a toothpick to secure it. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil.
  4. Place pan under pre-heated broiler. Broil until crisp, turning once after approximately 10-12 minutes.
Notes
  1. Serve warm.

Jalapeno poppers are definitely a hit for a family movie night or guests coming over. A perfect combination to have the creaminess of the chess and the spicy of the chile. If you want your poppers to be less spicy then be sure to remove all the seeds.
