Ingredients
  1. 12 slices off-the-bone deli turkey breast
  2. 8 oz. goat cheese, room temperature
  3. Fresh basil, 15 - 20 leaves
  4. Fresh lemon zest
  5. Salt and pepper, to taste
  6. Toothpicks (optional)
Directions
  1. Rinse basil leaves and pat dry. Remove stems and stack leaves into a single pile. Starting at one end and working to the other, roll basil leaves and slice into thin strips.
  2. Add basil and lemon zest to goat cheese and mix with a fork. Season mixture with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Spread goat cheese mixture onto turkey breast slices and roll. Secure with toothpicks, if desired.
