Most of us are aware of the existence of yoga. We also know that yoga is not only about making physical poses, but also deep meditative breathing and meditating. This meditation is often called “mindfulness” in yoga. It’s mostly commonly used when dealing with high-stress situations and super emotional times.
In this article that I wrote for DoYouYoga, I talked about how yoga can help with emotional eating habits. Mindfulness is as a powerful tool that helps us deal with the heavy circumstances, events, situations, and emotions plaguing our lives. Meditation lets us analyze these stressful things in a neutral way, much like watching a TV show in a detached way. These very same techniques can be used to deal with that pest called emotional eating.
