To achieve what’s been dubbed the power brow, it’s best to start by examining the current state of your brows. More often than not, brows are over-plucked or have been styled too thin after years of waxing or threading. Many stylists recommend allowing 1-3 weeks for brows to grow out before manicuring your arches into the perfect thick brow. Pluck the outermost hairs if desired during the regrowth process.
Know Your Arch Enemy:
Once this is done, the focus should be on defining your natural brow arch. To find yours using a pencil, slant it from the bridge of the nose to the eye’s iris. Then, begin pruning but do so with caution – avoid over plucking. Remember, thicker is always better .
Go Pro:
If your eyebrows are professionally done, consult with your stylist prior to the waxing or threading. It’s their job to help you achieve the look you’re hoping for, and they will be able to better fine-tune your brows.

Pump them up:
For those with naturally thinner eyebrows, layer textures to create the illusion of fuller multi-dimensional eyebrows, by simply applying a brow powder using an angled brush. A waxy pencil is also great for filling in gaps and evening out your brows natural shape. To keep your look natural, draw light strokes in the direction that your hair grows.
Put your eye on the dye:
For a more “wow” look, consider dying your eyebrows one to two shades darker than your current hair color. Yes, you read that right. Cara’s eyebrows have gotten darker and thicker since childhood – and that’s not due to genetics. You can see the transitions from her early modeling career till now. Eyebrow (hair) dying is fairly common in amongst models, agencies, and makeup stylists in order to give eyebrows and face that unforgettable impact.
Behind the runway, Cara is regularly styled with brow gel. Any simple gel will do, or even hairspray using an eye makeup corrector or q-tip or an angled brush to apply. Follow these simple tips and you’ll have the envy of Cara’s brows in no time at all!
